I'm leaving Texas today. I was staying at my uncle's mansion on a secluded hilltop area. Wow, there are so many creatures up here. At night, all the bugs come out. I saw scary big super long cochroaches, crickets, spiders and scorpions. There are even rattlesnakes here. (btw, in a Los Angeles art district restaurant called Wurstkuche, I ordered rattlesnake and rabbit sausage. It tasted just like regular sausage.) I'm getting badly sunburned lately. And I'm just doing normal activities, not like I'm trying to get tanned. I considered walking around with an umbrella, but I was told that here an umbrella is referred to as a "parasol" because umbrellas are for rain (and it doesn't rain much in Cali). Instead, to shield myself from the sun, I was told to wear a bigass hat or sombrero, haha! My friend's car broke down last week.
